Welcome to Team 350 & Thanks for Joining Us!

We’ll be adding updates and new graphics to this page, so come back often for updates.

Team 350 is a grassroots virtual team that is rowing/skiing to raise awareness of the dangerously high levels of CO2 in the atmosphere. 350 parts per million of CO2 has been identified by scientists as the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. We are above this level now. See 350.org for background.

Note: You can join our effort ANY time between now and Oct 24, the International Day of Climate Action.

The Goal

Build awareness of the significance of 350ppm by recruiting as many people as we can to help collectively attempt to reach 350 million meters of rowing and skiing in 35 days: September 20–October 24.

How to Participate

  1. If you don’t yet have an Online Logbook, create one for FREE at concept2.com/logbook.
  2. Then go to your logbook homepage and click on the button to join the challenge and let us know that you want to participate.
  3. Now all you have to do is row or ski, on water, or snow or indoors, and log your meters in your logbook. Please help us spread the word about 350 and recruit more athletes to join the challenge!

Note: As this is a 'virtual' team event, taking part in the Team 350 Challenge means you can still compete in the Fall Rowing Challenge with your usual team.

Measuring Our Progress

This page will soon include graphics and charts to help us monitor our team’s progress toward our big goal of 350 million meters, as well as intermediate goals along the way.

There are also honor boards for people who have rowed 35km, 70km and 100km. These can be found here: Team 350 Challenge Honor Boards.
