Epping, Sydney   AUS My focus over the coming months is to be prepared for the Speight’s Coast to Coast multi-sport endurance race in February 2012. The Speight's Coast to Coast traverses the South Island of New Zealand from Kumara Beach on the Tasman Sea to Sumner Beach on the Pacific Ocean. Over two days I will be required to cycle 140 kilometres (three stages of 55km, 15 km and 70 km), run 36 kilometres (including a 33 km mountain stage that crosses the Southern Alps) and kayak 67 kilometres of the grade two Waimakariri River through the Grand Canyon of New Zealand, the Waimakariri Gorge. I’m comfortable with the cycle and paddle...but I’ve got my work cut out to train for the run, and not that isn’t to under estimate the other legs either... But as always, the real fun is the journey...

Spirit Lake ID USA I don't work for NASA, but I would go to the moon if I had a chance! Rowing there is the next-best thing. I tie my rowing workouts in with training for running marathons. I ran my first marathon just before I turned 40 in 2004. Liked it so much that I set my new goal to complete 100 running marathons before I die. I hope to be the oldest female on the course eventually. I figure if I keep at it long enough I will reach that goal. Other passions include horseback riding; shooting sports; archery; fencing; Eskrima, a weapons based martial art of the Philippine Islands (more at www.HeartlandEskrimaSchool.com); good coffee and dark chocolate. I love my Lord, Jesus Christ; my husband, Keith; my two sons, Tim and Ben; and my parents and sisters, and the rest of my family and friends, too!

Newark Valley NY USA I started rowing in earnest in late 2002. I found rowing to be a great off-season workout from cycling and kayaking. My goal is to row 1 million meters a year. So far, so good. The challenge for me is that I typically only row between September and March. I really enjoy the various challenges - they are great motivation. I especially look forward to the 200K holiday challenge.

Lincoln RI USA Back in 2009 I was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle. After surgery and over a year of PT I was finally able to get back on my rower! My level of physical activity was limited due to foot, knee, shoulder and back injuries so the low impact workout of the Concept2 was perfect to continue my rehab. My health and fitness has improved dramatically which I attribute to rowing. In October 2012 I hit my 1 million meter mark and I'm on track for my first million meter session. Thank you Concept2 for a great product and supporting this online community and thank you LUNA-TICS for providing the needed motivation! P.S. Denver CO USA Biking is my 1st passion but rowing is a close second. I consider biking my outdoor sport and rowing my indoor sport. I lived in the mtns. of Colorado for 6 yrs and mtn. biked my 'you know what' off. Now after moving back to the flatlands, I road bike primarily. I discovered rowing at my local health club in the early '90's. They had a couple of those old fashioned LifeCycle rowers that happened to overlook the aerobics area. I'm not sure if it was the rhythm of rowing or the nice scenery from the aerobics area but I was hooked. I bought my model C a couple of years later and have been rowing off and on ever since. Thank you Concept2 for a great product and a wonderful website. For those curious, the picture of me is riding my bicycle over Loveland Pass (12,000 ft) in Colorado during the Triple Bypass bike ride.

CT USA I like doing rowing. Its fun. And I am going to try to do it every day after school. i want to row sectillion. I just got my 5,000 and 10,000 pin for rowing. I have been rowing 2000 and got tested. I would have been faster if the chain did not fall off and I had to stop for water. We are getting a new rowing machine that has a cage so our little brother Akira does not get his fingers in the machine.

Silver Spring MD USA As a card-carrying luna-tic, I'm committed to returning to the Moon. So for all of you folks affilated with NASA, or are just interested in space exploration, please join me in racking up the miles to and fro from the Moon. 250,000 miles each way, so I'll need a lot of help. I row to help relieve some of the stress that goes along with being responsible for developing robotic explorers of our Moon. Working for NASA is actually a lot of fun and a great honor, but having the chain to pull helps guide my occasional angst into improving my health. I hope you enjoy similar benefits of this magnificent obsession. Cheers! Matt

Alpharetta GA USA Began rowing in July ''07. Using Concept2 Model-D/PM3 at fitness center until Nov 2007. While there, enjoyed tracking workouts and feeling strength/endurance improve! Left fitness center and went dormant for 26 mmonths. Just purchased our own Model D/PM3 in Jan. 2010. When time and weather permit, I row my wooden boat on Atlanta''s Chattahoochee River.
