I row and cox year round with the Hull (Mass.) Lifesaving Museum in traditional 32' Cornish Pilot Gigs and in summer months with the Cohasset Maritime Institute in modern 26' Mainville 4's - sliding seat ocean gigs. Our home waters extend from Boston Harbor south to Scituate, MA.
I've been erging for about 10 years, heading inside and yanking a chain when the days grow short in New England. |
