My second-fastest time to date, lagging only behind the 7:13.3 that I did at the Indy Indoor Rowing Championships in February 2018. Puts me 4th in the country this season among everyone in my age/weight category who uses the C2 ranking system.
Drag factor 115 (much lower than the 138 that I used in the February 2018 race). Heel position 2. No tapering before this effort, and not much sleep the night before. Especially pleased with my ability to substantially pick up the pace in the last 500m.
