While training for the 2024 DEKA FIT ULTRA WORLD CUP, I was diagnosed with severe arthritis and a fractured femoral head and schedule for surgery. Doctor said no more hard lower body training, but Ski Erg and walking was OK!
So just before my surgery I got busy and broke the American Records for both Half and Full Marathon SkiErg Men’s 70-74. Also established a new World Record 100,000m Mens Individual 70-79. (next up will be Mens Individual 24hr World Record, May 2nd '25)
Currently in the process of establishing some respectable times for all Ranked Distances on the Ski Erg and Erglathon.
