Goal: 16 to 20 spm, 10 meters-per-stroke.
I suspect that part of my back problems may be attributed to what I do at the finish. I tend to lean too far back and to not give proper support with my core muscles.
So about 15 minutes into the workout I did two drills: 100 arms only and 100 arms & back. I paid special attention to making sure that my core was tight, that I was sitting up straighter but not rigid, and that I had less lean-back.
