Low stroke rate workout focused on teaching myself the Igor Gringo Style.

This was just another attempt to explore the premise that slowing down the stroke can help teach your muscles better technique that can then be sustained at higher stroke rates.

I have to admit that the attempt wasn’t all that successful. I forgot about trying to hunt too many rabbits — which means that I let myself be distracted by (1) trying to get 10-meters-per-stroke while (2) maintaining a rate of 20 spm while (3) keeping my feet flat and firm on the stretcher while (4) decreasing my angles at the catch and finish while (5) sitting up higher.

Obviously I need to learn to concentrate on just one goal at a time — and today that goal should have been rowing slow.

No rabbits for me!
