More success at slowing down the stroke rate. Is this because I am trying to teach myself to row in a nice, easy, flowing movement instead of exploding off the stretcher? In fifty minutes I had one split at 15 spm and four at 14 spm. Then before dinner I rowed again. With the exception of one split I rowed 4,000 meters at a pace of 14 spm at 10-meters-per-stroke. I also was successful at keeping the seat pretty much motionless while using my heels to bring the stretcher to me. This is much easier to do on the New Dynamic Indoor Rower than on slides. It seems to me it also is absolutely the technique I should acquire. Time will tell ...
