Another unhurried, smooth, pain free row ignoring split times, strokes per minute, and meters rowed. So I am experimenting with pulling less hard at lower rates. But this raises a question. What is the benefit of pulling less hard at lower rates? What am I losing and what am I gaining in this experiment?

Another thing to consider is that I am trying to compensate for whatever I may be losing in intensity by increasing the duration of the workout. Isn’t this experimenting with intensity vs volume? So I am back to the old question of aerobic vs anaerobic exercise.
