The focus: stay pain-free, concentrate on that part of the back where the tailbone ends, and take the weight about six inches up the back.
After hands had crossed over the knees I paused long enough to ensure that I was sitting tall and had recovered the natural shaped curve of my spine. After that I tried to keep the seat from moving and to get length by bringing my heels as close to the seat as possible.
