I am experimenting with stroke rate as an indication of intensity. So by "hard" I mean 30/32 spm and by "easy" 18/24 spm. I began by what is becoming the obligatory 1,000m warm up, then took a break at 30 mins, and finally put in a bit of extra work to get a 12,000m total.
