Rowing Slowly is about refining technique and improving aerobic fitness. It takes patience to row slowly. And as we all know, genius is nothing but a greater aptitude for patience. So don't waste your genius. You only truly succeed at rowing slowly when you stop fretting about how fast you are rowing. Remember Kris Korzeniowski taught Charley Butts that you don’t have work so hard early in the stroke, that it is more important to maintain pressure throughout its entirety.
