I have always enjoyed sport and fitness training.
After a lifetime of swimming, rock climbing and running, especially off road my knees eventually succumbed and after cortisone injections I decided to try using a gym.
In March 2017 joined my gym and decided to use the rower as it did not cause and stress to knees or my back.
Once I had discovered the ranking system my competitive edge took over and I am now addicted.
Being 5ft 8ins doesn't help a lot but it's an extra incentive!
I tore a hamstring in August 2023 resulting in a 10vweek lay off.
Still cannot do long sessions due to sore ppint on ischiun.
So short sprnts and weights for power and swimming for cardio for some time!
