Goal split 1:50 for each interval. Though I’ve done it before at 1:47, I wanted to take it somewhat easy because last time I was not able to finish the workout; I did the first 4 intervals and felt that I’d rather quit rowing than have to do one more.
Today was much more successful. I aimed to do the first four at a rate of 26–27, the next two at 27–29, and the last two at 30. There was a big difference between perceived rate of effort at 26 spm vs 28 spm. I need more training at high rates.
