Okay, Rod - you recommended "lots of long (20-30 minutes or more) slow rows at 18 to 20 spm... and by slow I mean between 65-75% of your maximum heart rate". This one's for you, then: Av. HR 128 (my max is 164ish) and 17 s/m (had to go below 18 in order to keep HR under 130) - strange experience as I mostly row full steam ahead so this one cost me +500m compared to the most recent 20min row ;)
