First w/o with slides. First impressions: perceived effort slightly lower for mid-pace like around 2:00 flat, but HR was likely around the same. Ventilation rate seemed higher for faster pace, around 1:48-1:49, so it will be interesting to see if I'll be able to hold that sort of pace for 10k. Also felt like a slightly higher drag factor will be preferable. Didn't really notice a difference in stroke rate for the given paces, but I suppose it was a little faster. Adapted quickly to the different set-up, but took a bit to get comfortable leaning back, since the tendency at first was not to lay back at all.
