Served in the Armed Forces (Army) for 42 years. Did Concept 2 Rowing as a means of keeping fit in Northern Ireland 96-98. Took part in the Championship there in 1997. Participated in the 5 Division Championship in 1999. With the exception of a few meagre attempts at the Gym, have not rowed at all since then. Back on the Rower at my local Gym since Oct 2018 and am now taking it seriously.
