Because of yesterday's disappointment at not making a season best pace faster than 2:09, today's target pace was to maintain 2:14.2 average until the last 500 meters and then increase speed to bring the overall average to 2:14.0 for the entire 10K. By doing so, I beat yesterday's overall average pace and probably helped overall conditioning for another try at a season best.
