Disregard SPM readings they are incorrect. Damper setting=0 and Drag Factor about 51 for this first attempt to use the SkiErg correctly after referring to instructions. Session was set to 10K but I had second thoughts and decided to limit it to about 2 miles and work up the distance and damper settings gradually.
