Sun 29/8/21 5x1250m/2 rest/neg from 153.9 What a brilliant session that was. It was definitely harder than I thought it would be, so this was super as a humbler. I felt a shift in effort on the fourth. The work really started there and I found myself knocking on the door of the cave. It’s very important for me to keep my focus and form when entering this phase of things. On the fifth and last rep I thought I’d do the heroics and bury it hard. I soon felt that I wouldn’t sustain the pace, so I let the row drift, got reorganised and brought it home steady. Near the end it was all thoughts of ‘don’t let yourself down, don’t let your team down, remember what your coach says’ … It was fantastic to have that head on instead of the other (ie give up, it’s too much, I can’t …) Love this machine. Love these workouts. #walkwithyou
