Open Water is my main love. As well as sea and lake swimming and kayaking I row with a coastal rowing club in a wooden skiff with 4 rowers and a cox. About 2 years ago I got it into my head I was going to row the Atlantic and embarked on a campaign to make that happen. Therein began a steep learning curve on what was actually involved and I soon realised it was a longer process for me than first envisaged. So here I am focussing on fitness, nutrition and doing up an old ocean rowing boat! I have Covid-19 to thank for helping me get back into my Erg and finding a great community to boot!
