I have been a track sprinter all of my adult life until ongoing knee injuries have cut short my career in running, so I have turned to indoor rowing.
I reached the pinnacle in that sport becoming the world #1 in sprinting and in 2010 received an award from Lord Sebastian Coe as the world's best track and field masters athlete.
I commenced rowing a bit in the gym in late 2019 and since Covid have been able to train with Mike Smith another masters M70+ rower and the indoor erg bike.
