Brit expat in Dubai , just started (Oct 20) after a 30 plus years hiatus from competitive rowing with no fitness in between and not shocked to find that I have gone from lightweight to heavyweight by the addition of having a cox integrated into my body (+35kgs!). So I am going to be a "steady Eddie" not wanting to shock the old ticker, getting those long winter miles under the belt and in the meantime dream of my old erg times, when blades were wooden and riggers were metal.
