As a Professor of Marketing with McMurry University in Abilene, TX, Kevin has also taught entrepreneurship, management, strategy, and technology.

Kevin has earned a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science in Management - Sports Management (MSM-SP), a Master of Science in Management - Marketing (MSM-MK), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc).

He started working at the age of 12 and was pretty much self employed for the majority of his life until becoming a full-time professor in 2016. He has owned computer company, advertising company, a magazine, and currently has a sports tour, rugby analytics, online marketing, and business consulting companies.

He is the head coach for the ACU men’s rugby programs that won the state and regional small college championship in 2020, as well as the founder and head coach for a local youth rugby program, and the head coach and board member of the local rugby club in Abilene. He actively played rugby for 40 plus years and won a scholarship from the Friends of the British Council and Premiership Rugby to go to England for advanced coaching development in 2018.

He married Angie in 2006, and they parent 8 kids: his 2, her 3, a nephew, and 2 of their 5 grandkids, and Cooper, their Golden Retriever. They have many other kids that call them mom and dad all over the world.

Kevin was born in South Africa, immigrated to the USA in 1992. He served in the South African Army receiving the Commanding Officer’s Commendation Award.
