Woot, woot.... Funny how psychological it is. It is really easy to slow down and totally blow the average 500m pace. I had a few minutes of rest in the middle of this one but was able to maintain the sub 39:30 pace with some encouragement in the last 3500m. Gotta keep pulling. Lot of talking to myself on this one.
