Played sport all my life until old injuries slowed me down over last eight years.
Rugby, surfing, running, squash, tennis, cycling.
I have had chronic back issues over the last 5 years and finally had surgery end of 2021 - Lumbar spine decompression. Surgery was successful. After surgery I did 3 months rehab using pool work in the local pool and I'm now fully recovered, (accepting my age constraints!!!) I purchased a Concept 2 rower when in remission from back issues but before I could use it back problems returned.
Now our local pool has closed for the season and over the last 3 weeks I have focused on using the rower as my main fitness tool.
