Fun to have a (virtual) coach encouraging me to keep going hard to win. Catch was, I didn’t know ahead of time what we’d be doing during each split. So hard to pace myself.
Felt like I’d given a bit too much by end of second split.
Disorienting to keep high stroke rate during recovery portions. Good to practice!
First and last split exactly the same distance achieved. Couldn’t quite keep my stretch target pace in final split. Probably had it in me; more familiarity with this piece would probably help.
