🥵 No way I could have done better after that.
600m seems to always be the point where my quads start protesting, then my 🐒 mind starts the justify quitting. Then I go through a low stroke rate lull, sulking and feeling defeated. Then I get a second wind and try to kill it for the final 250m.
Based on this, I tried to hold back a bit of the final set, aiming for:
1:43 1st 300m
1:40 2nd 300m
Kill it final 400m
Turned out I had to really fight to hold onto 1:40 until the final 200m, then went all out 😵💫
❤️🔥 🤔 Curious why my heart maxed out 6 bpm slower than my max—I went all out, I felt.
