When Covid restrictions terminated my club rugby front-row scrummaging days, I took to rowing on a device I cobbled together out of things in my ‘man cave’ - only having to buy 2 rails and a sliding seat.

4 years later for my 83rd birthday, I was given a Concept 2 by a family member - soon joined this website and have rowed almost daily ever since.
Now aged 85 and averaging over 4500 metres a day, I also enjoy the occasional WoD - all despite a couple of cancers and later cardiological ‘blips’.
