Note: have to leave for the weekend by noon so tried rowing at 0830 and felt like shit...it was probably nerves as i had prepared for this workout for a few days. So went and had breakfast then was relaxing on the sofa watching women's tennis when i heard the rower going so went downstairs and found my girlfriend finishing up a 10x1 min/1 min r. So I did some squats to warm up the legs, then a 1 min, finishing with a 1:45 pull. More squats and stretching for a few minutes then a hard 100m resulting in a disappointing 17.4. Went upstairs, had a drink of water, stretched some more for at least 5 minutes then cranked out a 100m as hard as I could FP 1:58 (best ever) and quickly down to 1:21 and held around 1:23 to end at 16.6, however it rounded up to 16.7. I was amazed!! So went up to my computer and loaded results, relaxed for a few minutes and as I seemed to be fully recovered decided to do a 1 minute thinking that I would score a 320ish, just to set a time for someone to beat, as I had already worked very hard. I quickly cranked down to 1:25 and stayed there as long as i could, slowly slipping upwards towards 1:30. When I looked at the "projected finish at around 43 sec it said 338! So I thought that if i could just hang on to 1:30 for a few more seconds I could do the 335 that my friend Richard predicted for me. What a nice result! Thanks Richard. Go for it man!
