Functional Threshold Power (FTP) Standard Ramp Test: Variable Intervals: 5min WU + 7(1min @ 100W+i ), i is the previous interval + 20W, e.g. giving the following progression, 100, 120, 140 … 220W. Barely finished my final interval, had I had to do one more at 240W, I would have failed right at the start. That said I will attempt in early March. Based on this test estimated FTP is: 165W = (220W x 0.75).
