6000m Training row: Baseline; 28SPM, Cardio Z2 & ≈> 02:25.00/500m. Goal; Row consistently while staying within Cardio Z2, except until the 500m, when power is ramped up to sprint finish. RPE 3. The row was executed as planned. Today’s effort was done with the added challenge of breathing through the nose only. Nevertheless, it was faster by 4 seconds, while completed with both a lower average HR and a slight increase in the average wattage output per stroke all while maintaining a consistent SPM and pace.
