Affinity Rowing Club
ARC was established in January 2019. We have a wooden Cornish pilot gig called Grace O'Malley, named for a 16th century Irish pirate queen, and a glass-reinforced plastic gig called Knucker, the name of a legendary Sussex sea dragon.
Our boats are berthed at Newhaven Marina on the south coast of England, and our crews enjoy rowing on the sea in Seaford Bay as well as on the tidal river Ouse.
Our aim is to be a friendly club, bringing together a group of people to enjoy a shared love of rowing in the spirit of our community, supporting each other to gain skill and confidence.
