Olden Bears Rowing Club

The Olden Bears are rowers and coxswains who generally, but not exclusively, rowed for the University of California Golden Bears. The Olden Bears are not just alumni, they are a group of athletes that have never lost their pursuit of fitness or love of rowing. Our USRowing registered club was formed in 2022, after Henley Masters, as a way to get friends and former teammates together for additional international races with an initial focus on entries for the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston USA. The success of this maiden voyage has inspired more. 2024 bought five eights competing in the mens and womens 40+ and 50+ age categories at the Head of the Charles. The Olden Bears are ready for fierce competition with sights on San Diego Crew Classic, Master's Worlds, and Head of the Charles for 2025. The Olden Bears welcome Cal Alumni and friends.
