In the January 2025 VTC, 48 of us collectively pulled 6.52 million meters during the month. That’s 2.6 million less than we erged in 2024, but we had 16 less people participating. We finished in 45th place out of 773 teams. The big story of the competition was Pete who pulled a Herculean 1 million meters during the mnth! He tells me that equated to 3 hrs on the erg every day during the month. What commitment! Roger followed in 2nd place w/ 518k, and Sam finished 3rd w/ 506k. 21 of us finished above the 100k threshold. A great team effort! Well done! It's a new year. Our goal this yr is to surpass our team record of 9.1 million meters which we achieved in 2024. And if we could get to that elusive 10 million meters, that would be fantastic. If we add a few more people, it should be attainable. Set your daily/weekly/monthly target (in time or meters) & stick to it. As extra motivation, a donation (calculated per meter) will be made to the ACB scholarship fund in honor of the top finisher.
