Atlantic Discovery

Introducing…. ATLANTIC DISCOVERY! There will be no turkey for us on Christmas day. No turkey, and no wine. The four of us (Isaac Kenyon, Chloe Appleton, Ben Ajayi-Obe and Jack Hopkins) will be spending 2018’s Christmas day on a small boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, by then probably slightly mad, and singing Christmas carols loudly to the endless sea. This year, we are embarking on a campaign that will end with us rowing the 3000 nautical miles across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Race. We are doing it partly to fulfil a dream, but mostly for the Berkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre. As we are all students/ex-students of Royal Holloway, we will be representing Colossus D’Bear from Spain to Barbados. It is going to be tough. It is going to be incredible. It is going to be COLOSSAL! We’ll let you know how it goes!
