Buffalo Bayou Rowing Center

Buffalo Bayou Rowing Center (BBRC) is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit bringing the sport of Olympic-style rowing to the high school aged youth of downtown Houston. BBRC will promote sportsmanship and college attendance by educating youth about scholarship opportunities. Rowing provides other valuable lessons including interpersonal communication skills, time management, and overall responsibility. Additionally, BBRC will benefit the health and wellness of youth through a competitive teambuilding environment while bringing awareness to the Gulf Coast wetland environment.
