Casually rowing as a way of keeping fit for many years, I started training primarily on the erg as I reached 60 in 2017.
Currently struggling with competitiveness as I drift towards the middle of the age group, now 66 (Mar 23).
Picked up the FM >60 HWT British Full Marathon Record 2/8/21 in a time of 2:49:46.3. Happy with that for now!
I am now attempting to row 'on the water' from July21 onwards, a bigger challenge than I imagined.
