I was born with a non-developed/non- functional thyroid. I'm in my early 50's and have studied the human body since I was very young. I attended Institute for Integrative Nutrition Heath Coach Training 2012, and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 10 years. I found out in Oct 2019 that I had uterine cancer and, FULL Hysterectomy followed in Nov 2019. Instantly putting me into Surgical menopause with hot flashes and further insomnia issues. My intuition said no and declined radiation,and then....Covid hit the world. I was beginning to gain weight faster after surgery. I had to put my knowledge about inflammation and change my eating lifestyle. I had been raw vegan on and off since 2004. I had to remove all glutinous grains, and go as organic as possible. We received the rowerg Sept 24, 2021. (my weight 189#) Around November I had a bumpy road due to cortisol increasing so did my inflammation- I had increased my meters too much and it caught up with me. I had to lay off and rest. Got back on slowly, and by February 2022 I had made some hard decisions and had returned raw vegan, but occasional cooked. I increased my rowing without the inflammation set backs by March. April I had gone fully raw vegan. I primed my workouts to be ready for the new row season. May 1st I made a goal of 5000meters a day. Some days I increased, but never lower. I set out 30 day goal first. I gave myself a day off one day since then but added that 5000meters in small chunks on proceeding days to make up. I have been having some inflammation again lately past two weeks due to adding in some decaf coffee, so the cortisol and adrenals are definitely a factor!! I plan to get back to my chicory drink and lower my row to 5000 meters only for a couple weeks. Balance is key!!!
